The Handmaid Mask

A long time ago in a very different place, a Dark Queen ruled through fear and magic spells that stole people’s free wills. Her empire collapsed, her power was sealed away, and her artefacts of control scattered through the ages.

Now, Miria, a woman removed from her own world, and Karina, her guide to this new world, are on a mission to recover all the artefacts of darkness. When they discover that a museum is holding an exhibit all about the Dark Queen, they go in search for one of these artefacts. Miria’s presence activates the Handmaid Mask, however, and Karina is possessed by dark powers, turning her into a demotic overseer whose only mission is to ensure royalty has enough servants to see to their every need.
